Stories built for how the diaspora actually watches
Zukani TV is a home for immersive, binge-worthy drama series made by African and African-diaspora creators — built for how people actually watch today: on the go, in short episodes, on a phone.
Why we started
Independent African filmmakers already have real audiences on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram — but those platforms were never built to pay them fairly for it. Zukani exists to give those creators a real, transparent home: a premium, pay-per-episode model with a clear, published revenue split, real-time analytics, and dependable monthly payouts.
How it works
Viewers unlock episodes with Coins — an in-app currency purchased in packs or earned for free through daily check-ins, watching rewarded ads, and other in-app activities. Creators set their own episode pricing based on what their own dashboard tells them their audience is willing to pay, and earn a published percentage of the real revenue their series generates.
Who we are
Zukani TV is operated by Ashu Ventures LLC. We're a small, founder-led team building a platform we want African filmmakers to actually want to be on.
